Real Rock Stars at the World of Concrete

I handled location audio for this production at the World of Concrete trade show in Las Vegas. Trade show floors are acoustically brutal — constant ambient noise from crowds, machinery demonstrations, PA systems, and adjacent booths. Getting clean dialogue in that environment requires a disciplined wireless rig and careful gain management.

The creative concept pairs skilled tradespeople with the “rock star” framing, which means interview setups in noisy environments, plus some coverage on the show floor itself. A boom and two planted lavs give the editor options without requiring perfect conditions from the talent.
