Shift.com – Pile of Cash Commercial

I handled location audio for this Shift.com television commercial. Shift is an online used car marketplace, and the “Pile of Cash” concept is the kind of high-energy consumer campaign that rewards clean, punchy dialogue delivery.

Commercial production audio is about consistency and speed: the director is moving through setups quickly, talent may be non-actors delivering scripted lines, and the post-production schedule doesn’t allow for audio problems. Getting clean takes efficiently, and flagging anything that needs another pass before the crew moves on, is the job.
