I served as location audio recordist on Receiver, the Netflix documentary series that followed elite NFL wide receivers through an entire season — on the field, in the film room, and at home. The series brought the same fly-on-the-wall access to professional football that QB1 and Last Chance U brought to their subjects.

All-access sports documentary is one of the most demanding audio environments in the industry. You’re working around 300-pound linemen, sideline noise, crowd fill, helmet mics, and the constant logistical pressure of a live NFL production — while still delivering broadcast-quality dialogue for a Netflix audience. Every scene cut from the field to an intimate locker room conversation requires a different approach in real time.
