I handled production sound for this episode of NFL Films’ The Grind, a docuseries following the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season featuring Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis. The Grind format is similar to all-access sports documentary — cameras and audio inside the organization throughout the week, capturing practice, team meetings, and the game itself.

All-access NFL documentary sound means managing a large variety of acoustic environments across a working week: the controlled quiet of a film session, the noise of a practice facility, locker room ambient, and game-day crowds. A multi-mic strategy with dual-system recording ensures the editor has what they need at every stage.
