Super Wild Card Weekend Mic'd Up 2020 | Game Day All Access

I worked production audio for NFL Films’ Super Wild Card Weekend Mic’d Up from the 2020–21 NFL Playoffs. The expanded Wild Card format, introduced that season, created more games and more Mic’d Up opportunities in a single weekend. Playoff stakes raise the emotional temperature on the sideline — which means better mic’d content and higher expectations for audio quality.

The pandemic protocols of the 2020–21 NFL season created unusual production conditions, including restricted access and controlled environments for crew. Despite those constraints, the audio deliverable had to meet the same broadcast standards. Adapting to reduced access while maintaining quality is a skill that production sound built over years of working in variable conditions.
