I handled location audio for the first episode of the NFL’s 2017 Draft Journey series, following offensive line prospects through the pre-draft process. The “In the Trenches” title signals the focus: the big men, the blocking specialists, who are often overlooked in draft coverage despite being essential to every offense.

NFL Draft prospect documentaries involve a lot of location variety: college campuses, training facilities, family homes, the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and pro day workouts. A portable bag rig handles all of those environments, and keeping audio quality consistent across a season-long documentary shoot requires discipline with calibration and documentation.
