Early Rider Moments: There from the Start

I handled location audio for Early Rider’s “There from the Start” commercial, one in a series of brand films celebrating children’s first experiences on a bike. Early Rider makes high-quality children’s balance and pedal bikes, and their brand films have a genuine, cinematic quality.

Children’s commercial work requires patience and adaptability — you cannot direct a four-year-old the way you direct professional talent, and the best moments are spontaneous. Having the audio rig ready for those moments while staying out of frame is the challenge. Outdoor cycling footage means managing wind and movement while keeping the natural ambient of the location — which the director wants — alongside clean parent and child dialogue.
