Dogtopia Daycare: We Speak Dog

I handled location audio for Dogtopia’s “We Speak Dog” brand campaign, another in the series of branded content pieces for the dog daycare franchise. The “We Speak Dog” concept centers on the staff’s genuine connection with and understanding of the animals in their care.

The location audio challenges here are similar to the other Dogtopia production: an active dog daycare environment with substantial background noise, human subjects delivering dialogue in the middle of the action, and the need to capture the authentic ambient energy that makes the brand real. Multiple wireless lavs on staff members and a boom for key dialogue moments is the standard approach.
