24/7 College Football

I contributed additional audio on 24/7 College Football, HBO’s all-access documentary series going behind the scenes with top college football programs in the weeks leading up to major bowl games.

The format is built around access — practice facilities, film rooms, locker rooms, coaches’ offices — environments where audio is always a puzzle. Hard surfaces, HVAC, crowd fill in stadiums during walkthroughs, and the unpredictable rhythms of a live practice make it difficult to get consistent, clean audio without being obtrusive. The production moves fast; there’s no time to re-stage anything.

HBO’s 24/7 brand started with boxing (24/7 HBO Boxing) and earned a reputation for delivering intimate, unguarded moments from elite athletes. The college football version carried that same mandate. My role was additional audio — supporting the primary sound crew on specific segments and locations during the Arizona production window.
